Commission & Board Vacancies Information

The City is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the following Committees:

Senior Center Advisory Committee

The Senior Center Advisory Committee consists of five members who serve four-year staggered terms.  This Committee makes recommendations related to the operation and maintenance of an effective and efficient Senior Center for the residents of Dublin.  The Senior Center Advisory Committee Bylaws and Rules of Procedure govern the meetings and activities of the Advisory Committee.  The City Council is looking to fill one (1) position on the committee.

The Mayor recommends all appointments, subject to confirmation by the City Council.  Because this is an unscheduled vacancy, appointee will serve through December 2018.

Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District

The Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District Board (ACMAD) is a public agency serving the people of Alameda County. The Alameda County Board of Supervisors, and each of the elected councils of the 13 cities within the district, appoints one trustee to represent its constituency on the governing board of the ACMAD. 

The appointment to the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District Board will be for a two-year term, expiring in January 2020.

Dublin residents interested in serving on the above boards must complete an application.  Applications may be downloaded here or obtained at the Dublin Library, the Dublin Senior Center, Civic Center or by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at (925) 833-6650.
