NEW! Future Homesteaders

Teens 14 years and up

If you’re interested in exploring a sustainable, self-sufficient lifestyle, become a Future Homesteader at the Dublin Heritage Park and Museums.  Help maintain our Farm Yard garden. Learn traditional skills like butter-, ice cream-, and cider-making.  Create a costume, and lead hands-on-history activities for children and families at special events, such as Harvest Fair, Spring Fair, First Saturday Hands-on-History Days, and during tour group visits.  Training is provided at monthly meetings.  Teen volunteers earn community service hours, have fun, and learn new skills.  Program runs September to May.  For a volunteer application, visit www.dublin.ca.gov/volunteer, or call (925) 452-2100.
